The Philips HeartStart FRx AED features intuitive, step-by-step voice instructions, including CPR guidance, and an audible metronome to help guide basic life support (BLS) responders while treating a suspected sudden cardiac arrest (SCA). The already connected SMART Pads II can be used for both adults and children. Rugged, lightweight and reliable, the Philips HeartStart FRx AED can withstand rough handling and extreme temperatures.

The Philips HeartStart FR3 AED is a highly flexible platform so you can configure it for a wide range of current and evolving protocols. The Philips FR3 AED is fast to use with peel and place SMART Pads III that are suitable for adults and children. The FR3 is built for harsh environments and tested to stringent military standards (IP55 Rating). Quick Shock reduces the time between hands-off and shock delivery. Responders can quickly disconnect the FR3 and reconnect to the HeartStart MRx for a fast hand-off to the next level of care.

The Philips HeartStart OnSite AED Adult SMART Pads are appropriate for cardiac arrest victims weighing 55 pounds (25 kg) or more. All electrode pads for the Philips HeartStart OnSite AED units must be replaced after use or by their expiration date.

The Philips HeartStart FRx AED Smart Pads II pads are pre-connected and packaged in a semi-rigid pads case and are equipped with a compatible plug for easy hands-off connection to Phillips ALS (Advanced Life Support) defibrillators with adapters.
